Normal Community’s Peacock to attend Iowa Western

NORMAL – Normal Community basketball standout Alex Peacock committed to Iowa Western Community College.

“When I visited everything just felt right,” Peacock told PrepHoopsIllinois.com. “I feel they give me the best chance to go to my highest potential.”

The 6-foot-7 senior Peacock was one of the area’s top players this season, leading the Ironmen to a second-place finish in the Class 4A state tournament. He averaged 14 points and seven rebounds per game, as NCHS posted a 33-2 record.

PrepHoopsIllinois.com predicts Peacock will get Division I attention after playing two seasons at Iowa Western.
