BLOOMINGTON – McLean County Republicans have found a new candidate to run for the county board seat covering south Bloomington.
A special nominating committee picked Lyndsay Bloomfield for the District 9 county board seat. She replaces Jeremy Bradley, who withdrew his name from the November ballot.
Bloomfield is a precinct committeeman and Treasurer for the McLean County GOP’s executive committee.
She will face Democrat David Parker and Libertarian Sol Roberts-Lieb.
Incumbent District 9 County Board member Erik Rankin, now the county’s Democratic Party Chairman, chose not to run for another term.
