Illinois State Fair entries due this week

Individuals who are looking to enter the 2010 Illinois State Fair (ISF) General Competitions should act quickly, as the deadline is July 15. The ISF General Competitions will be held at the Hobbies, Arts & Crafts Building, which is located next to the Lincoln Stage on Central Ave, and will be open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. during the fair (except for August 22, in which they will be open from 9 a.m. to noon). General competition categories include textiles, hobbies, agriculture products, art, floriculture and baking competitions. All applications must be postmarked by July, 15, 2010 and include a $1.00 fee for each entry.
