Bella Thorne stars as CeCe Jones in the Disney Channel series “Shake It Up!”
Thorne has been entertaining and modeling since she was 6 years old. She noted in a WJBC interview that watching her brother act made her want to have a similar career. It was modeling that got Thorne started in the industry and singing that keeps her learning something new every day. Thorne said she devotes her Sundays to improving her voice and exploring the world of music.
Thorne’s love beyond the creative arts is for shoes. She built a room at home designed especially for her over 200 pairs of them and the purses she has owns too. When you see her on the red carpet you will often see her wearing a new pair of shoes that she absolutely loves!
Thorne points out that if you are interested in acting you have to pour your whole self into getting better and commit to following your dreams. Thorne points out she is dyslexic and while it has created some challenges it has also taught her to look to others for support.
Bella Thorne will be at the Central Illinois Drive basketball game on Jan. 28 at 1:05 p.m. Get ticket info here.
