Drive win Super 8th

BLOOMINGTON – The Central Illinois Drive, presented by Sonic, easily handled the Indiana Diesels for the second day in a row, bowling over the visitors 104-78 at U.S. Cellular Coliseum on Sunday.
As they did one day before, the Drive led the whole way, taking a 19-point lead into halftime, and extending it to 30 in the fourth quarter before the Diesels narrowed the final margin to 26.
Rodney Edgerson led the Drive with 26 points on 9-of-12 shooting off the bench, while Perry Petty added 20, shooting 8-of-10 and starting for the second consecutive game for the injured Daniel Ruffin. David Inabnit led the Diesels with 19.
The Drive are back home again next Saturday against the St. Louis Phoenix.
