Mulberry School Open House

Attention parents! Are you looking for a preschool for the 2012-2013 school year? Exploring options for a school-aged child? Mulberry School is hosting an Open House and 40th Anniversary Party on Sunday, February 26, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 1101 Douglas Street in Normal, IL 61761.

The Mulberry School is celebrating 40 years of providing independent, child-centered learning in the Bloomington-Normal community. The Open House and 40th Anniversary Party will include children’s activities; tours of the school and classrooms; the opportunity to meet teachers and current Mulberry families; and complimentary refreshments.

Applications are currently being accepted for the 2012-2013 school year for:

• Half and full-day Pre-K classes for 3 and 4 year olds.

• Full day kindergarten.

• Multi-age classes for elementary school-aged children

The Mulberry School is an independent, non-profit, parent cooperative that provides children with the opportunity to learn in an environment that values curiosity and natural development. We work to “nurture the innate love of learning” by teaching children how, as opposed to what, to learn.

Serving the Bloomington-Normal community since 1971, Mulberry School is a cooperative learning community where parents have the opportunity to participate in nearly every aspect of the school. It is this support and input that allows us to provide a unique learning experience for our students. Mulberry offers a community in which families can grow and learn together.
