Army Pvt. Keith C. Gyory

Army Pvt. Keith C. Gyory has graduated from the Patriot Missile Repairer Advanced Individual Training course at Fort Sill, Okla.

The course is designed to train soldiers to perform direct and general support level maintenance on the Patriot missile system, a combat missile system that features a phased array radar set and control station. Students are trained to troubleshoot, repair, test, inspect and maintain the electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, analog and digital electronics, and the integrated and printed circuits of antenna systems pertaining to the missile and its associated equipment and components; and perform tests and adjust components to specific tolerances and determines shortcomings and malfunctions in electronic assemblies, subassemblies, modules and circuit elements with common and system peculiar test equipment.

Gyory is the son of Lana M. Mason of 130th Avenue, Abingdon. His wife, Jenilyne, is the daughter of Rommel Binongcal of West Mount Vernon Street, Metamora.

He is a 2010 graduate of Abingdon High School.
