BLOOMINGTON – Three games into the Illinois Wesleyan men’s basketball season, it appears the Titans have answered one of their biggest questions coming into the season: Can they score consistently?
The IWU men have eclipsed 100 points once, come within one point of the century mark a second time and averaged 93 points per game in three early-season wins.
Coach Ron Rose says everyone has figured in the scoring, noting that the team’s top returning scorer, Jordan Zimmer, managed only 3 points during a 102-62 thrashing of MacMurray.
The Titans hope to continue their offensive flurry Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. against Monmouth at Shirk Center. You can hear the game here on WJBC.com.
