NAPERVILLE – For the fifth time this season, Illinois Wesleyan senior Olivia Lett has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Player of the Week for women’s basketball on Monday.

Since 2001, only three other seasons have seen players win the CCIW weekly honor five or more times – Millikin’s Lindsey Ippel (five times in 2006-07 and six times in 2007-08) and Elmhurst’s Lindsay Long (five times in 2009-10).

Lett averaged 24 points and six rebounds in two Illinois Wesleyan wins last week. She scored a team-high 23 points, pulled down eight rebounds and had five assists and five steals in a 95-54 win over North Central on Feb. 8.

She followed that up with 24 points and four rebounds in a 57-53 win over Carthage on Saturday, clinching at least a share of the CCIW regular season title for the Titans.
