SPRINGFIELD – The Abraham Lincoln Association is continuing its celebration of the 16th president’s 203rd birthday.

A banquet will be held Sunday evening at the President Lincoln Hotel in Springfield.

The dinner speaker will be Illinois Democratic Sen. Dick Durbin. Other events Sunday include a round table of speakers from the two days of programs.

The David Davis Mansion is also celebrating Lincoln’s birthday. Visitors to the mansion Sunday will hear stories about the 16th President’s connection to Davis and will also be treated to birthday cake. The David Davis Mansion’s celebration will last until 4 p.m.
