WJBC Medical Expert Dr. John Wieland says a British study of 12,000 patients found a link between low Vitamin D levels and depression.

Wieland explains another study contradicted the British study but he believes there’s enough of a correlation that he suggests with patients who have major depression, doctors should screen for a Vitamin D deficiency.

Something else to consider …. sun exposure is critical to Vitamin D and that’s why Dr. Wieland says many people in the Midwest suffer from a lack of Vitamin D.
