For the Republicans, Pennsylvania Rep. Pat Meehan says the GOP wants Obama’s help to pass a payroll tax cut extension for a full year, expand energy production and rebuild roads and bridges. Meehan is asking Obama to support the GOP energy and infrastructure agenda he says would create jobs by reducing red tape and not spend more.
