Local officials respond to Lexington house fire

LEXINGTON – The Lexington, Towanda, and Cooksville fire departments responded to a house fire at 26546 Pleasant Hill Road in rural Lexington on Thursday afternoon.

Metcom said officials got the call for a structure fire at 4:07 p.m. They said there’s no damage estimate but there were initially flames coming out of the back of the house.

Metcom officials said an ambulance did respond to the fire and an individual was transported, but the extent of injuries were not known.
