Illinois State professor of sport management Chad McEvoy joined WJBC’s R.C. McBride and Jim Fitzpatrick to discuss why “Tebowmania” is sweeping the nation.

“I’m curious how this plays out over time. I think Tim Tebow is more likely to be remembered as a three- to six-month NFL cult phenomenon – than this is the start of Brett Favre’s career or Payton Manning’s career,” McEvoy said.

McEvoy also touches on the new NFL playoff overtime rules, Monday night’s BCS championship game and Illinois State University’s men’s basketball program.
