Polygamist cult escapee speaking at ISU

Irene Spencer was the second of ten wives and was mother of 14 of her husband’s 58 children before finally escaping from her polygamist cult.

She’s written about her experience is the book “Shattered Dreams: My Life as a Polygamist’s Wife.”  She and her first daughter, Donna Goldberg – who has helped several people get out – joined R.C. and Jim in studio.  Listen to the interview here:

Spencer will be speaking at 7 P.M. Tuesday night on the main floor of Illinois State University’s Milner Library.  There will be a book signing after the event.
