STERLING, Ill. -- The Sauk Valley Predators turned out the lights for their Chicago Bulls-style pregame introductions--but the Central Illinois Drive, presented by Sonic, shot them out in a third quarter that saw the visitors turn a 2-point deficit into a 22-point lead in a span of about six minutes en route to a 112-93 win at Homer Musgrove Fieldhouse on Saturday
Redbird, Titan basketball on WJBC
After losing two games on the road, the Illinois State men's basketball team returns to Redbird Arena Saturday for the BracketBuster game against Oakland.
The Redbirds have had significant success in the 'Buster, going 13-4 in the 10-year history of the event. In fact, those 13 victories are the most of any team involved in the BracketBuster.

BLOOMINGTON -- The Chicago Muscle won the opening tip Thursday at U.S. Cellular Coliseum -- and that was the last good thing to happen to them as the Central Illinois Drive, presented by Sonic, blistered the nets in the first half en route to a 125-81 rout of the visitors to move to 10-0 on the season

Illinois State's men's basketball team takes a two-game winning streak into Cedar Falls, Iowa to face the Panthers Saturday night.
The Redbirds beat UNI 65-61 in the Missouri Valley Conference opener on December 29th, but Illinois State has struggled on the road recently, dropping their last four away contests.

WHITELAND, Ind. -- The Central Illinois Diesels, presented by Sonic, once again built up a big second-half lead, but this time didn't let the opposition get within striking distance.
After seeing a 21-point lead disappear last week against the Indiana Diesels in a three-point win, the Drive continued to pound the Diesels in the fourth quarter Saturday night en route to a 117-76 win at Whiteland Community High School

The Redbird men's basketball team hopes some home cooking and a win over in-state rival Bradley can erase the memory of a blowout loss at Creighton.
Illinois State faces the Braves Saturday at Redbird Arena. ISU is looking for its fifth-straight home victory against Bradley. The Redbirds will try to distance themselves from the pack in the Missouri Valley Conference, as they come into the contest in a four-way tie for third place.
