WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Normal CornBelters signed three pitchers from the 2012 Frontier League Draft on Wednesday.

Elio Briones joins the Belters after playing in an amateur circuit in Miami for a while. During that time, he has done well enough to garner the attention of several pro scouts.

"Briones is a classic starter that can eat up innings, and he can compete for a rotation spot or be a long relief player,” said Field Manager Chad Parker.
