Illinois State expert studies gay adoption

Jeanne Howard from the School of Social Work at Illinois State University joined WJBC’s Jim Fitzpatrick on Monday to discuss the national dialogue surrounding gay marriage and adoption.
Howard does studies in gay adoption, and has recently co-authored “Emerging Diversity in Family Life: Adoption by Gay and Lesbian Parents,” which was published in Adoptions by Lesbians and Gay Men, and “Never Too Old: Achieving Permanency and Sustaining Connections for Older Youth in Foster Care,” which was published by Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute.
