BLOOMINGTON — WJBC’s on-air schedule Monday includes an interview with former Major League Baseball pitcher Dick Hayhurst about his new book.
Hayhurst, who pitched for the Padres, Blue Jays, and Rays, is author of “Out of My League: A Rookie’s Survival in the Bigs.” He joins WJBC’s Jim Fitzpatrick and R.C. McBride at 3:10 p.m.
Earlier Monday, state Sen. Shane Cultra, R-Onarga, talks state politics with WJBC’s Beth Whisman at 7:10 a.m.
And at 7:45 a.m., Illinois State men’s basketball coach Tim Jankovich recaps Saturday’s BracketBuster win over Oakland.
And Erica Thurman from the YWCA’s Stepping Stones program talks with WJBC’s midday host at 1:10 p.m. to discuss a proposed “skin tax” in Illinois, which would charge strip club owners $5 per person — money that would go into a special new state sexual assault prevention fund.
