Today on WJBC: Play 4Kay PINK game

BLOOMINGTON – WJBC’s on-air schedule Tuesday begins with a look ahead at an Illinois State women’s basketball game next weekend that aims to raise awareness for breast cancer and other women’s health issues.
The Redbird women will host Bradley at 2:05 p.m. Sunday for the Play 4Kay PINK game, sponsored by Country Financial. The event is named for Kay Yow, the former North Carolina State coach who died in 2009, with funds going to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. (Current Redbird women’s coach Stephanie Glance worked under Yow.)
Linda Bowman with ISU and David Magers with Country Financial join WJBC’s Scott and Colleen at 7:10 a.m. Tuesday to talk about the event.
Community Cancer Center medical director Dr. Shermian Woodhouse joins WJBC’s Patti Penn at 9:10 a.m. for an update on the Normal treatment center.
WMBD-31 Twin Cities Bureau Chief Jacob Long joins WJBC’s Beth Whisman at 11:10 a.m. to discuss his reporting in the Barton McNeil murder case.
And Traci Andracke, assistant general manager of the U.S. Cellular Coliseum, gives WJBC’s Jim Fitzpatrick and R.C. McBride an update at 3:10 p.m.
