BLOOMINGTON – WJBC kicks off its two-day Radio Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon on Thursday – and your donations are needed!

Throughout both days, WJBC’s show hosts will talk with families whose lives have been impacted by St. Jude. St. Jude is ranked the No. 1 national pediatric cancer care hospital in the U.S., and St. Jude is one of the country’s leading research organizations.

Elsewhere on WJBC’s on-air schedule Thursday, Illinois State football coach Brock Spack joins WJBC’s Scott and Colleen at 7:45 a.m.

Mick Mills, the local veterans representative with the Illinois Department of Employment Security, talks to WJBC’s Patti Penn at 10:10 a.m.

Bloomington Police Chief Randy McKinley joins WJBC’s Beth Whisman at 12:10 p.m.

At 3:10 p.m., Illinois State University political science professor Bob Bradley chats with WJBC’s Jim Fitzpatrick and R.C. McBride about the GOP presidential primaries.

And stay with Jim and R.C. at 4:10 p.m., when Bloomington Blaze hockey coach Paul Gardner skates in for an update.
