Barry Manilow is headed to the U.S. Cellular Coliseum on April 11 at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets will go on sale on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Coliseum box office, all Ticketmaster outlets and select Walmart locations, online at ticketmaster.com, or by charge at 800-745-3000.
You can register to win tickets before you can buy them at the WJBC Hear It First Club. One pair of tickets will be given away each day this week until tickets go on sale Saturday.
With worldwide sales of more than 80 million records, Manilow’s success is a benchmark in popular music. He is ranked as the top Adult Contemporary chart artist of all time, according to R&R (Radio & Records) and Billboard magazines. Rolling Stone magazine crowned him “a giant among entertainers… the showman of our generation,” and Frank Sinatra summed up Manilow best when Ol’ Blue Eyes told the British press, “He’s next.”
Manilow’s track record includes no less than 25 consecutive top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot 100. His latest album, “15 MINUTES” is his first album of original songs in 10 years. Inspired by the Andy Warhol quote: “In the future, everybody will be world famous for fifteen minutes,” this edgy, guitar-driven pop album is a captivating musical odyssey exploring the perils and pinnacles of fame’s double edged sword.
