WJBC picks best holiday lights display of 2011

After much deliberation, WJBC’s own supercommittee has chosen the winner of the 2011 Holiday Lights Display contest.

The winner – chosen by a 4-2 vote on our six-person WJBC committee – is Phil and Jane Kibler and their son, Brandon, for Kibler’s Dazzling Lights at 204 Robert Drive, Normal. The impressive, computerized and musical display even has its own website and radio frequency. Through New Year’s, you can see the display for yourself from 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

WJBC will pay the Kibler family’s light bill for the month of December (up to $300).
