All-day coverage of State Farm Holiday Classic on WJBC

BLOOMINGTON – The State Farm Holiday Classic is one of the largest high school basketball tournaments in the country and much of it will be on WJBC this weekend.

WJBC 1230 AM and WJBC.com will have play-by-play coverage of six games in the opening round. You can also listen on the WJBC app.

The Central Catholic girls will play Brimfield Lady Indians at Normal Community High School at 1 p.m. Eric Lapan will have the call. University High will take on Champaign Centennial in a girls' game at U.S. Cellular Coliseum at 2:30 p.m. with Larry Duling and Nick McClintock behind the mics. That will be followed by the Normal Community and Springfield girls in a 4:30 p.m. tip at the Coliseum with Larry and Nick.

The boys take over the evening session, U-High battles the Edwardsville Tigers at 6 at Normal West High School followed by No. 1-seeded NCHS and the Plainfield South Cougars at 7:30 with Eric Lapan. TIm Lewis will bring you Central Catholic and the Rock Falls Rockets at 9 at Illinois Wesleyan's Shirk Center.
