WJBC Athletes of the Week: Jan. 26, 2015

WJBC, in partnership with Frontier Communications and Roberts Trophies, is again proud to present the High School Athletes of the Week.

Here are the winners for the week of Jan. 26, 2015:

Sydney Shanks – Central Catholic Girls Basketball 

Sydney scored 25 points and added 10 steals and six rebounds in the Saints’ win over Eureka. 

Austin Zielsdorf – Ridgeview Boys Basketball 

Austin scored 28 points in the Mustangs’ win over Flanagan-Cornell in the semifinals of the McLean County Tournament – and added 18 points in Ridgeview’s title game win over Fieldcrest.
