TOLONO – Authorities in Champaign County are investigating a possible homicide after a local University of Illinois student was found dead.
The body of Chicago native Vicente Mundo was found Saturday morning about ten miles south of Champaign in Tolono Township. Mundo had been missing for nearly a week when he was discovered.
Police say his car, phone and other belongings he was carrying at the time of his disappearance are still missing.
