BLOOMINGTON – Illinois State’s basketball team guns for its sixth win in its last seven games today when it travels to Carbondale to face Southern Illinois in a 1 p.m. Missouri Valley Conference battle.

The Redbirds will be looking to hold onto third place in the league standings where they have a 7-4 record. ISU is 15-8 overall and has won three straight. Southern Illinois will be looking to end a four-game losing streak and has a 2-9 Valley record and a 9-15 overall mark.
Meanwhile, Illinois Wesleyan’s basketball team looks to keep its hold on first place in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin standings tonight when it plays host to North Central.
Coverage begins at 7 p.m. with Eric Stock and Joel Swanson on WJBC 1230 AM. The Titans are 8-2 in the CCIW and 16-5 overall. North Central is 6-4 in the league and 16-5 overall.
