BOSTON – Downs native and Tri-Valley High School graduate Stephanie Brown finished fourth in her professional debut in the 1,000-meter run at the New Balance Indoor Meet in Boston on Saturday.
The eight-time All-American at the University of Arkansas ran a personal best 2:39.64. The winning time was 2:36 and Brown's previous best was 2:41.
