BLOOMINGTON – Joshua Dunn has pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from an alleged fatal hit-and-run last month. Dunn, 21, entered the plea in court Friday to charges of leaving the scene of an accident involving a death and aggravated driving under the influence of marijuana.
Dunn is accused of hitting Benjamin Allison, 20, with his car while Allison was walking in a crosswalk at the intersection of College and Fell Avenues in Normal around 8:30 a.m Jan. 24. He's also accused of being under the influence of marijuana at the time of the crash.
Dunn's next court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday, when a judge will listen to a request from his attorney to reduce his $75,000 bond.
