SPRINGFIELD – Voters in Illinois are heading for a database.
Illinois is joining other states already involved in the Electronic Registration Information Center program. Former Gov. Pat Quinn signed legislation to enter the state's over 7 million voters into the database program.
Illinois is expected to join Jan. 1, 2016.
