Redbirds in MVC semi’s, Titans in NCAA 2nd round on WJBC

BLOOMINGTON – The Illinois State men's basketball team will try to shock the Missouri Valley Conference as they take on the Shockers of  No. 8 Wichita State in the conference tournament semifinals Saturday.

Tune in to WJBC AM1230 or WJBC.com at 11 a.m. for Redbird Rally, Redbird Preview gets going at 12:30 p.m. and tip is set for 1:35 p.m.

The Redbird women's team is also in action Saturday. They're on the road against Southern Illinois beginning at 2 p.m. on WJBC.com.

The Illinois Wesleyan men's hoops squad goes for another Division 3 NCAA Tournament win Saturday night as they take on UWSP in Stevens Point, Wis. Coverage on WJBC and WJBC.com begins at 6:30 p.m.

More action on WJBC.com Saturday features ISU's baseball team takes on Georgetown at 9:30 a.m. in the Snowbird Classic down in Port Charlotte, Fla. Redbird softball is in the Red and Black Classic in Louisville. Check out the action at 5 p.m.

The Bloomington Thunder cap off the night as they play host to the Madison Capitols at 7 p.m. on WJBC.com.
