Mildred Lawson
Mildred Leone “Mickey” Lawson, 86, of Normal passed away at 5:05 a.m. on April 26 at Heritage Health, Normal.
Her funeral service will be Noon on Friday at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington. Rev. Clark Killingsworth will officiate. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Bloomington. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. – Noon Friday at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington.

Mickey was born Jan. 31, 1929 in Normal, the daughter of Lloyd P. and Mildred P. Motter Biddle.
Surviving are five children, Stephanie (Rich) Ulbrich, Florida, Bob (Kathie) Swibaker, Normal, Stacy (James) Gates, Delaware, Nancy (Emerson) Bailey, Minonk, Denise (Rodney) Martin, Lexington; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; three brothers, Bob, Gayln and Owen Biddle.
She is preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Bud, Wayne, Cecil, Bruce Lynn and Roger Max; five sisters, Juanita, Laverne, Lorraine, Virginia and Elaine.
Mickey was a beautician and owned and operated her shop for over 30 years. She owned and operated a resort on Table Rock Lake in Missouri. Mickey enjoyed bowling, playing cards and traveling. She had made it to 49 states.

Donald O’Meara
Donald M. O’Meara, 54, of Lexington, passed away at 1:17 a.m., April 27 at Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.
His funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury.
Visitation will be held from 4-7:00 p.m., Thursday also at the funeral home.
Cremation will be accorded following the services.
Donald was born June 19, 1960 in Chicago, the son of William and Beverly Gordan Holtz.
He married Barbara Thirstrup on Oct. 23, 1989 in Markham. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother, Beverly Holtz of Braidwood; children, David O’Meara of Romeoville, Amanda Esparza, Donna (Cesar) Palmerin, Joe O’Meara all of Joliet, Angie O’Meara of Lexington, Chrissy O’Meara of Saunemin, and Megan O’Meara of Lexington; sister, Beverly (Michael) Collins of Country Club Hills; 16 grandchildren.
His step-father preceded him in death.
Donald is a veteran of the United States Army.
He worked as a service manager for 15 years and then worked for Prairie Central Coop for 10 years.
He enjoyed fishing, racing and time with his family. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
