WJBC, in partnership with Frontier Communications and Roberts Trophies, is again proud to present the High School Athletes of the Week.

Here are the winners for the week of May 26, 2015:

Chante Stonewall – U-High Track and Field

Chante claimed first place at the IHSA Class 2A state track meet in the 300-meter hurdles (43.7 seconds) for the second straight year and placed fourth in the 100-meter hurdles (14.93) at Charleston.

Chase Payne – Lexington Baseball

Chase pitched a no-hitter and struck out 10 batters as the Minutemen defeated Cornerstone Christian, 12-0, at the Roanoke-Benson Class 1A Regional.
