OMAHA, Neb. – Hy-Vee is recalling some mislabeled macaroni salad.
D&D Foods of Omaha, Neb., a Hy-Vee subsidiary, is recalling three-pound containers of Hy-Vee American Macaroni Salad because they were incorrectly labeled and may contain undeclared milk and gluten. The front of the tub has a label calling it Hy-Vee Dijon Mustard Potato Salad.
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk and gluten run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
The recalled product has a best if used date of July 31. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.
