Cardinals makeup game, CornBelters on WJBC tonight

In a battle of baseball’s top teams, the St. Louis Cardinals come back to Busch Stadium to play a makeup game against the Kansas City Royals.

It will be a battle of veteran 35-year-old righthanders with matching 8-5 records as John Lackey is set to go for St. Louis against Chris Young of the Royals.

The Cardinals sport baseball’s best record at (60-34) while Kansas City touts the top mark in the American League at (57-36).

WJBC will have the game at 6:05 p.m. via the Cardinals Radio Network. First pitch is scheduled for 6:15 p.m.

The Normal CornBelters close out their three-game series with the Joliet Slammers at the Corn Crib. You can hear all the action with Greg Halbleib starting at 6:20 p.m.
