FCS Championship Game tickets go on sale Saturday

INDIANAPOLIS – Illinois State football fans who encountered challenges securing tickets for the FCS Championship Game in Frisco, Texas, this January can get a heard start on 2016 in anticipation of another long post-season run.

The general public will have the opportunity to purchase game tickets for the 2016 NCAA Division I Football Championship Game in Frisco, Texas, to be played on Jan. 9, 2016, beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29.

Tickets can be purchased at NCAA.com/FCS or by phone at (866) 208-0048. Individuals ordering early can save $10 off of the regular ticket price of $45 and a premium midfield ticket and hospitality package will also be on sale for $145.

Should Illinois State qualify for the game again this season, the Illinois State Athletics Ticket Office will have an allotment of tickets to sell. Weisbecker Scholarship Fund donors and football season ticket holders will receive more information about how to purchase those tickets at a later date.
