OSMAN – The Illinois Department of Transportation has announced U.S. Route 136, four miles west of Illinois Route 47, will be closed at the Norfolk Southern Railroad crossing.
The crossing will be closed for about four days starting on Sept. 28.
Norfolk Southern Railroad will be replacing the crossing. Motorists who use U.S. 136 in this area should follow the marked detour or use alternate routes.
The marked detour will be utilizing Illinois Routes 47 and 54 and Interstate 74.
