Road closures due to Twin Cities Half Marathon, 10K

BLOOMINGTON – The Fleet Feet Sports We Care Twin Cities Half Marathon and 10K run will take place on Saturday.

The races begin and end at Eastview Christian Church. The course goes south on Airport Road, into Tipton Park and onto the Constitution Trail. The 10K turns around on the Trail along GE Road, while the

Half Marathon continues on Constitution Trail west and south to Empire Street in Bloomington, and back to the start. The Half Marathon begins at 7:00 a.m. and the 10K begins at 7:30. Both races should be finished by 11 a.m.

Since most of the course in on Constitution Trail, pedestrians and cyclists will be impacted more than vehicles. There will be lane reductions on Vernon where the trail crosses near Angela Drive, and one lane of Airport Road will be closed from Raab to College. Airport Road will be closed north of Raab.
