ISU, IWU football face ranked opponents Saturday on WJBC and WJBC.com

BLOOMINGTON – Game Day with Adam Studzinski kicks off sports coverage Saturday at 10 a.m. on WJBC 1230 AM.

That will be followed by Illinois State’s home game against Indiana State in Missouri Valley Conference action. Pregame coverage is at 11 a.m. with the kickoff at noon.

ISU, ranked No. 3 nationally, has won six straight for a 6-1 overall record and has won 16 straight home games. That streak is the longest in the FCS ranks and second at all levels. The Redbirds are 4-0 in the Valley while Indiana State is ranked 21st nationally with a 4-3 overall record and a 2-2 conference mark.

Also, on your computer or smartphone at WJBC.com, Illinois Wesleyan’s undefeated football team plays host to North Central in a key College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin action at 1 p.m. The Titans, ranked 13th nationally, are 7-0 overall and 4-0 in the conference.

Meanwhile, the ISU volleyball team plays at Drake at 7 p.m. in the Valley and a 3 p.m. the Bloomington Thunder plays host to Dubuque in hockey action.
