Lori Ann Swartz, 49, of Indianapolis, formerly of Bloomington, went home to be with the Lord at 3:46 p.m. on Nov. 12 at her residence.
Her memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington with Pastor Christine McNeal officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the memorial home on Sunday.
Cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Shriners Children’s Hospital or to an organization of the donor’s choice in Lori’s name.
Lori was born on Oct. 17, 1966 in Bloomington, Illinois, a daughter of Alan and Carol (McCauley) Swartz.
Surviving are her parents, Alan and Carol Swartz of Indianapolis; a sister, Cari Lynn Swartz of Paducah, Ky.; grandmothers, Betty Swartz of Bloomington and Norma Rees of Newark, OH. Also surviving are several aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her two grandfathers, Ernie M. Swartz and Russell R. Lawyer.
Lori grew up in Paducah, graduating from Paducah Tilghman High School in 1984 and West Kentucky Vocational School in 1986. She moved to Indianapolis in 1991.
Lori was deeply loved and will be missed.
