Redbirds to play TCU for 3rd place in Cancun

Illinois State meets Big 12 Conference foe TCU in the third place game of the Riviera Division at the Cancun Challenge today.

The Redbirds (2-3) and TCU (2-2) are both aiming to bounce back following narrow losses Tuesday evening. Illinois State kept it close with No. 2 Maryland before the Terrapins pulled away for a 77-66 win. TCU fell to Rhode Island.
