WJBC Athletes of the Week: Dec. 21, 2015

WJBC_AOWWJBC, in partnership with Frontier Communications and Roberts Trophies, is proud to present the WJBC Athletes of the Week.

Winners for the week of Dec. 21, 2015:

Ellie Weltha – Bloomington Girls Basketball

Ellie scored 22 points and pulled down 13 rebounds in the Purple Raiders win over Rantoul.

Andrew Loy – Normal West Swimming

Andrew won the 200-yard individual medley and the 100 freestyle and helped the Wildcats win the 200 freestyle relay as West took fourth place at the Raider Invitational in Bloomington. His time in the 200 (1:51.49) broke the pool record.
