Chase Scheets
Chase Patrick Scheets, 31, of Shirley, passed away at 3:40 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at his residence.
Cremation rites have been accorded. His memorial service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bloomington with Pastor Thomas Wirsing officiating.
Memorials may be made to an education fund for his son, Gavyn. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.
Chase was born on December 29, 1984 in Normal, a son to Brian E. Scheets and Susan McCarthy-Glaser.
Surviving are his parents, Brian Scheets of Shirley and Susan McCarthy-Glaser of Bloomington; a son, Gavyn Patrick Scheets of Bloomington; a sister, Tiffany Scheets of Bloomington; three brothers, David (Ashley) Gaither of Atlanta, Zachary (Taylor) Burlingame of Bloomington and Zane Scheets of Shirley; and several nieces.
Chase was employed in lawn care for many years. Chase was an avid Dallas Cowboys and LeBron James fan.
He was loved and will be missed very much by his family.

Mable Doage
Mable L. Doage, 80 of Bloomington passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 7:45 p.m. at her residence in Bloomington.
Her memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bloomington with Fr. Ric Schneider O.F.M. officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. also at the church.
Inurnment will be at Park Hill Cemetery in Bloomington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Mary’s Catholic Church or to the Alzheimer’s Association in Mable’s name. The family of Mable has entrusted Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington to handle her arrangements.
Mable was born on October 11, 1935 in Bloomington a daughter to Earl E. and Mae (Brown) Doage, Sr.
Survivors include three sisters, Norma Nathan of Bloomington, Thelma Brown of Decatur, and Kathleen Turner of Denver, Colorado. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Mable was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, and one sister.
She was a 1954 graduate of Bloomington High School and then attended Illinois Wesleyan University. After attending IWU she attended school in Chicago for Computers.
Mable was employed at W.H. Rolands Department store in Bloomington for several years. She later worked for the City of Bloomington in City Hall as a computer specialist where she retired from.
She was a lifetime member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bloomington. Mable was very active in the church and sang in the choir.
Mable enjoyed traveling and playing the piano. She had been very active in music, singing in different choirs throughout her life.
