WJBC, in partnership with Frontier Communications and Roberts Trophies, is proud to present the WJBC Athletes of the Week.

Winners for the week of Jan. 25, 2016:

Summer Stoewer – Normal Community Girls Basketball

Summer had 28 points, six rebounds and six steals in a triple-overtime loss to Bartonville. She also posted 16 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Peoria Richwoods

Colton Sandage – Bloomington Boys Basketball

Colton hit nine three-pointers on his way to a career-high 33 points in a win over Belvidere North at a Martin Luther King Shootout at Rockford. He then scored 17 points on five three pointers in a win over Belvidere later that day.
