WJBC, in partnership with Frontier Communications and Roberts Trophies, is proud to present the WJBC Athletes of the Week.

Winners for the week of Feb. 8, 2016:

Olivia Peters – Normal West Girls Basketball

Olivia hit two free throws with four seconds left and led the Wildcats with 11 points and nine rebounds as Normal West edged Champaign Centennial 37-36.

Zack Struetker – Cornerstone Christian Academy Boys Basketball

Zack posted 18 points and 18 rebounds and became the school player in school history to score 1,000 career points as the Cyclones beat Tri Point.
