Illinois State at Evansville on WJBC tonight

In a battle for second place in the current Missouri Valley Conference standings with six regular-season games remaining, the Illinois State men’s basketball team visits Evansville tonight for an 8 p.m. matchup at the Ford Center.

Winners of five of their last six games, the Redbirds (14-11, 8-4 in MVC) are coming off of an upset victory over then-No. 21 Wichita State, while the Purple Aces (19-6, 8-4) snapped a two-game skid by beating Missouri State.

Dick Luedke, Mike Matthews and studio host Greg Halbleib will have the call starting at 7 p.m. on WJBC 1230 AM, 93.7 FM, the WJBC Country Financial Illinois State Radio Network, WJBC.com and the WJBC app.

Halbleib and Austin Duncan will have Sportstalk starting at 6.
