Sportstalk, ISU women’s hoops tonight on WJBC

The Illinois State women’s basketball team will play their final two home games of the season on Doug Collins Court at Redbird Arena this week, beginning with a 7:30 p.m. game against Southern Illinois.

The Redbirds (6-19, 4-10 MVC) will be looking to end a four-game losing streak when they host the Salukis. Southern Illinois (17-9, 10-4) has won four-straight contests, and six of its past seven games.

Greg Halbleib will call the action on WJBC 1230 AM, WJBC.com and the WJBC app.

Austin Duncan will host Sportstalk at 6.

The Bloomington Thunder travel to Plymouth, Mich. in hopes of ending a three-game losing streak. The Thunder play the team USA 17 and under squad. Faceoff scheduled for 6 p.m. on WJBC.com.

The Illinois State baseball team will make the 2,100-mile trip to Eugene, Oregon, to play a four-game series at No. 9 Oregon this weekend. The Redbirds and Ducks will open the series tonight at 8. Listen live on WJBC.com.
