WJBC Athletes of the Week: March 7, 2016

WJBC_AOWWJBC, in partnership with Frontier Communications and Roberts Trophies, is proud to present the WJBC Athletes of the Week.

Winners for the week of March 7, 2016:

Lauren Seaver – U-High Track and Field

Lauren took first in the pole vault (11-0) at the University High Indoor Invitational co-ed track meet at Horton Field House.

Matt Chastain – LeRoy Boys Basketball

Matt scored 38 points in the Panthers’ 61-47 win over Arcola in the Class 1A Colfax Sectional Semifinal. He followed that up with a 24-point night in LeRoy’s 42-38 win over host Ridgeview in the Sectional championship game.
