The Bloomington Purple Raiders are in the sectionals for the first time since 2007.

BHS will take on the LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers in a semifinal matchup at Bradley University’s Renaissance Center in Peoria in a scheduled 7 p.m. tipoff.

The winner will play Friday against the winner of Wednesday’s game between Peoria Manual and Metamora.

Larry Duling and Eric Lapan will call the action on WJBC 1230 AM and WJBC.com.

WJBC will also have live reports from the Class 1A Super-Sectional at Redbird Arena as the LeRoy Panthers play the Newark Norsemen at 7.

Nick McClintock will host Sportstalk at 6 p.m. on WJBC.

Illinois State baseball continues play in the Snowbird Classic at Port Charlotte, Florida with a 10 a.m. start against Michigan State on WJBC.com.

The Redbird softball team has two games at the University of Florida Tournament which moves to Orlando. The Redbirds are scheduled to play Ball State at 1 p.m. and Central Florida at 5. Both games can be heard on WJBC.com.
