The LeRoy Panthers are set to make their first state finals appearance in boys basketball.

The Panthers will take on the Liberty Eagles in the first Class 1A semifinal game at Carver Arena in Peoria. Eric Lapan and Bryan Bloodworth have the call at noon on WJBC 1230 AM, WJBC.com and the WJBC app.

The Bloomington Purple Raiders play the fellow Big 12 co-champion Peoria Manual Rams in the Class 3A Sectional final at Renaissance Coliseum in Peoria. Larry Duling and Eric Lapan have the call on WJBC starting at 7 after Sportstalk hosted by Nick McClintock at 6.

The Illinois State baseball team finishes its Florida trip at the Snowbird Classic, in Port Charlotte. Illinois State will first play Western Michigan at 11 a.m. Friday. Listen live on WJBC.com.

Following a rainout on Thursday, the Redbird softball team plays two games at the Louisville Softball Classic. ISU takes on Jacksonville State at 9 a.m. and Eastern Kentucky at 11 on WJBC.com.

The Bloomington Thunder plays the second of back-to-back home games against the Youngstown Phantoms. The game is set for 7 p.m. on WJBC.com.
